About Mrs. Fenske
I grew up in Aurora, Illinois. This is a western suburb of Chicago. After graduating high school from West Aurora, I went to Monmouth College to pursue my degree in English and education. While at Monmouth, I played on the women's golf team - Go Fighting Scots!
I taught for two years in Illinois, but then in 2010, I got married to my high school sweetheart and made the move to Texas so that he could pursue his goal of working in the oil and gas industry.
This will be my sixth year teaching and my second year at Tom Cox. I am so grateful to be teaching at such a wonderful school like TCI and be surrounded by such wonderful teachers, students, and parents.
When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our furbaby, a six year old greyhound named Skelator. We call him Skelly for short.
We also love to cheer on our hometown sports teams: the Chicago Bears, Chicago Cubs, Chicago Blackhawks (Stanley Cup Champions!), and the Chicago Bulls. Don't worry, I am slowly becoming a Texans fan!
